CEO / President
Mariela is a cornerstone of the Avalon Park community, serving as CEO/ President of Avalon Park Funeral and Cremation Services. Having 20 years of experience in the funeral industry, Mariela's expertise is matched only by her passion for serving others during difficult times with the assistance of Licensed Funeral Directors and a team of devoted staff. With deep roots in the area and a commitment to its well-being, Mariela's dedication extends beyond professional endeavors. All three of her children graduated from Timber Creek High School and she has been actively involved in the community ever since. Beyond her work, Mariela is a lifelong learner, currently pursuing a degree in Baking and Pastry Management at the Walt Disney World Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality, Valencia College. In her free time, she finds joy in running, exploring new destinations through travel, and cherishing moments with loved ones. Living in the heart of Avalon Park, Mariela is not just a resident; she's a vital thread in the community fabric.
